Personal Bio:
Darci Phenix is a Portland, OR based multidisciplinary artist. Her practices include: working with textiles and songwriting. Through her work she hopes to explore how individual and collective memories effect how we experience the world as well as to preserve and celebrate historic crafts.
Currently, Darci is preparing to self-release her 3rd album in March 2025 (after 6 years on NY-based Team Love Records) by hand quilting record covers and making textile sculptures to accompany the songs.

Moss Textiles is a one-lady operation based in the Pacific Northwest. The maker behind Moss, Darci Phenix, feels that art should be made in collaboration with nature. By sourcing mill end wool, hand foraging and making natural dyes & turning any wool excess created by her process into reusable felt, she creates as little waste as possible. These one of a kind pieces aim to bring the beauty of the outdoors into the home space and to revive a lost cultural belief in the handmade.
